Get Away From Here Low

Posted: Wed 10:23 PM, Sep 16, 2009

There is an area of low pressure that has been the focus of my forecast over the last several days. Gues what.... it's still out there!

It's still kicking out across Louisana-Texas-Arkansas... the same low that has had me pulling my hair out. There is some agreement that it will make a significant move by this weekend! This also means that I have put rain chances back in for Saturday. I had briefly removed them and now after looking at some other data I have decided to throw them back in there.

Over the next 2 days the area of low pressure will sway back and forth. While that;s going on, we'll keep rain chances in and of course the ever-present cloud cover. Southern KY has the best chance to see the rainfall thru Friday. If evrything goes according to plan the low will swing by over the weekend and give all of us a chance of rain!

Still watching some really tough cold coming our way... tough for this part of September! I'll have more on that as the forecast continues to roll out.
