Thieves steal a piece of history from Lexington non-profit
12 mins ago - Employees at a Lexington non-profit are hoping that an increased reward will influence thieves to return a stolen piece of history.
You can also take a positive outlook on this whole situation. The longer the pattern holds... the longer the cold air stays away. This pattern has to break though! The same old-same old is a little boring! Especially, when you are doing 10 plus weatercasts a day. Your mind can run a little thin on how to say scattered showers in a different way.
A slow moving frontal system is working into Kentucky. It will bring a decent round of scattered showers to our region... again!
The HPC's assessment is a good one. This is how it plays out on the surface!
What I am really waiting for is the cold punch of air that arrives early next week. If you are looking for Fall... here's a sneak peak! I feel more confident about the cooler air this time. I am going to jump on the cold and ride it!

Just in case you can't tell... that 35-40 over us! I have modified for my actual forecast, but if trends stay the same I will be forced to include this in my forecast!
I am going to respond to a couple of comments here:

Jim! We all love you, but you are working yourself to the bone!! I hope you are getting paid by the hour. Keep up the great work, but for goodness sake, get some rest. Remember, this is what you do--not who you are. Oh, and by the way, I can't wait for the SNOW...when do you predict it to start for us. Early I hope.
Tammy... Your line, "this is what you do--not who you are." Is going on my facebook and myspace pages. I think I had heard it before but never that clear! Thanks and I will get some rest. As for your snow forecast... lol... I'll tell you soon! I am waiting on this first real cool shot to arrive and then I am going to take some things from there!

Where's Rob? We don't mind seeing Jimmy in the mornings, but hadn't expected to see him all the time.
Les... Rob is no longer on staff here at WYMT! He left us nearly two weeks ago and I'll tell you that I am missing him! I'm not sure how to take the rest of your message... so I'll just say that I am sleepy, but I do enjoy doing as many weathercasts as I can!
