Laurel County man behind bars on domesic violence charges
10 mins ago - A man is the Laurel County jail tonight on domestic violence charges, authorities say they found him hiding under his victim's home!
The constant presence of scattered showers all week long, more heavy rains, and saturated ground have many of us in the weather world a little concerned. A Flash Flood Watch will officially go into effect on Saturday morning and lasts through Saturday evening. The data is suggesting that this frontal system, that we have been waiting all week for, will be a slow mover. That means that very heavy rains will be possible. Those heavy rains will roll over the same pieces of real estate over and over. I think a general 2-3" of rain could be possible by the time we wrap things up late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
I'll have more later
