Here Comes A Cool Blast

The cool blast we were talking about last week has finally started pushing into Kentucky.

Temperatures will take bit of a hit over the next few days. Most of the week will feature highs around 10-15 degrees cooler than normal and the same thing for lows. That means highs will only be in the low to mid 60s on most days and lows will fall into the low and mid 40s. This is a true cool blast! I think many folks will be grabbing their blankets and might even consider some heat on these chilly nights.

This cool blast will last trhough most of the week. I don't think it stays forever and that will mean highs will find their way back up the thermometer.  I am not talking about highs in the 80s, but I am talking about highs that will return to normal highs.

Showers will be back again on Friday. These showers will be in and out pretty fast. These showers could have a few storms associated with them. Last Friday night we had several lightning delays at area football games, if timing pans out right it could be a similar situation. This of course is subject to change. I should have a better handle on the Friday forecast here in a day or so!

The weekend featured some very heavy rains. We were very fortunate in avoiding major problems with high water.
