Ky. ranks No. 1 for whitetail trophy hunters
12 mins ago - The latest issue of Outdoor Life ranks the Bluegrass State as the top whitetail trophy state in the country.
Before we get into the meat and potatoes of the "wintry" part of the forecast let's get to that point first!
Tuesday's highlight will be the fairly nice temps. We'll find highs in the mid 60s by the afternoon hours. With a mix of sun and clouds in the area. Then the 2nd low of the brand new work week swings through by bringing more clouds and rain. Showers will spread all across Kentucky. At the same time it looks like our temps take a hit. They will recover slightly by Thursday. That's when the doors from Canada start to open up!
I kept looking over the data for late Friday and late Saturday. I was a little excited! A pretty significant cold blast will arrive here late Friday. The timing and the penetration of the cold looks to be on track for a wintry collision. It's a bit early for this, just in case you were wondering.
The strength of the low could mean everything and right now it's looking pretty decent. I won't go into much more detail until I look over things again Tuesday. Then I'll start throwing up some images for you guys to check out!
