Madison Co. man arrested for using small child as designated driver
5 mins ago - A Madison County man is in jail accused of letting a small child drive him home because he was drunk.
Another disturbance will bring rainfall to KY on Thursday... again! Much like Wednesday temps won't warm very much. At 5am temps were in the 40s, 50s, and 60s in the area. At 6pm... temps were in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. There was very little variation in temps all ay long. I think Thursday will set-up the same way. Friday's high will be hard pressed to get out of the upper 40s, but some locations could barely slip into the low 50s. For all of you folks that plan to head out to one of the area football games you better make sure you bring a warm rain coat. Expect conditions to be chilly with those areas of rain. The word RAW comes to mind!
I know what most of you are waiting for and that's the one thing I am looking forward to talking about. Wintry precip!
All indications point to... YES... we will have some rain/snow in the area beginning early on Saturday and now possibly lasting through Sunday. I saw a hint of that yesterday, but wanted to see more runs before I started throwing that around.

The image above is very early on Saturday morning. You see the mis beginning to happen a cross a few counties.

We are closing in on sunrise in the image above... aka... generally the coldest part of the day. The mix becomes wider and covers more counties.

The sun is up in the image above and this mix is still in the area. One thing I hope you have noticed through these images is that some of the same areas are seeing it each time period. Mainly the higher elevations and that has some potential! What kind of potential?!?! Hold on for a sec... lol... because the next image could make you either smile or cringe!

The image above is Sunday morning and you don't see any green here now do you?!?! lol The latest runs have the moisture hanging back for a little while longer and it is during that time we have some of the coldest air in place! This will continue for a few mor hours and will likely end during the early afternoon as a mix of rain and snow. There could be that window where for some of us all we see is snow. It will be brief, but snow!
The potential I was referring too earlier is that high elevation accumulations can't be ruled out! It will be minimal if anything at all... the rest of us will just see it falling with the rain showers.
That's the latest and that's what I have for you know!
