Final Week Of October Stays Mild

The milder temps that we have experienced in the past few weeks will be back again this week! It will be a great way to end the month. However, the beginning of the next month could be quite a bit cooler.

If the weekend would have been a few degrees cooler It would have been great from top to bottom. That wasn't the case though! The cooler air will be out of the picture for a few days. The rest of October actually looks good temperature-wise.

A big slug of moisture will spread into Kentucky from the southwest. I mentioned on the air that a system like the one coming would have all of us on edge if it happened about a month and a half from now. The area of low pressure will take a track right along the Appalachian Mountains. It has plenty of moisture to work with! It spreads the rainfall chances into our region starting Tuesday and lasting through early Wednesday. The rain gets out of town and will only leave a few scattered showers by the afternoon hours on Wednesday.

The rest of Wednesday will stay dry and Thursday will too! There is a great possibility that we'll see highs either right at 70 or well into the 70s in some locations.

Friday will once again be greeted with a chance of rain. This will be triggered by a cold front that will pass right over KY. That means we'll see some cooler temps come rolling our way this weekend. AGAIN! This second system of the week will also bring some breezy conditions for Friday.

I'll have more details on Tuesday!
