Boy Scouts approve plan to accept openly gay boys
Updated: 6:37 PM - The Boy Scouts of America's National Council has voted to ease a long-standing ban and allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts.
I hope you had a great beginning to the brand new year. I am still out on vacation until Monday and of course I dread that...lol... the thing about weather is you never leave your job. It's always around you! I dress around the weather, I plan outside activities around the weather, and I am always wondering what will happen next. That only occurs when I am away.
The NWS in Jackson had an interesting post on their web site concerning the top 5 events of 2009. I agree with each one of the events. Here's the post...
NWS Top 5 Weather Events of 2009
Some light snow showers will be possible over the next couple of days. We'll also run into some bitterly cold temperatures beginning Sunday morning. Look at how low these temps go on Sunday morning.
GFS Sun Morning

That's 5-10 degrees according to the GFS. That's some pretty intense stuff swinging through the region.
WRF Sun Morning

The WRF pushes it in here a little more widespread. Again, 5-10 degrees. More cold stuff is coming.
Derek commented on my last post about snow at the end of the week. It does look like a clipper may dip into Kentucky with some moisture associated with it and bring some white stuff to the region. This could change... I'll keep you updated!
