Oxbow upsets Orb in Preakness
Posted: 6:32 PM - Oxbow has won the Preakness, ruining Orb's bid to capture the Triple Crown.
First, I want to thank all of you for your kind words and patience. I updated while I was on the down & outs but I didn't go into great detail. I would have done more, but I just didn't feel up to much of anything. I had surgery on Monday and didn't leave the house again until Thursday. Normally, I'd say that is a dream come true... not this time! I would have much rather been out and about rather than dealing with the aches. I am now back at around 90-95%... still have those aches... but they seem to be weakening each day.
Monday was just a dream here in southern & eastern Kentucky. There was plenty of sunshine to go around for everyone. Only if you were living in our region. If you go into central KY or northern KY it was a much cooler and cloudier place. It won't be that way all week. These milder temps will run the weather show for much of the week and into the weekend.
GFS Tuesday

A front willl slip into KY on Tuesday and possibly fire off a few showers in the region. Nothing major here... just a scattered rain shower here and there. I know the data looks like it will be widespread, but it should mainly be isolated.
The next solid wave will arrive on Thursday. This one will increase our rain chances by quite a bit.
I'lll have more on that later!
