The cold air will begin rushing in this evening and tonight. This will change all the remaining moisture over to snow.
If you refer back to my last post I mentioned that the targeted timefor the heaviest snow would begin tonight. Mainly rain on Tuesday and changes over to snow later in the day. Everything will begin picking up as we go through time. The winds will start whipping, the cold air invades, and the snow begins.
Visibilities could drop down to 0 when the winds start driving the snow into KY. Winds could be up to 30-35mph and when you factor that in with the cold temps.... we could be looking at single digit numbers.
Neil Middleton sent me this... I'm not sure where it is?!?! It said in the email somewhere in east Tennessee, but I am really not sure?! It's hilarious!
