Snowfall... So Far

The main energy passed by yesterday and now we are waiting on this system to completely wrap-up. I am expecting more accumulation.

The snow has really been adding up in some areas out there. The rest of us will see another chance for these totals to hit the forecast soon!

The folks over at the NWS Jackson posted this image for snowfall so far.

In order for my forecast to become a reality I will need the snow to pile up in all of those areas that only have an inch or so. The good news for my forecast is... that looks like it will be the case. The heavy bands of snow will work back into the region.

The Winter Weather Advisory is out for most of our region through Wednesday Afternoon.

Another 1"-3" will be possible tonight.

Full Update Later

Jim, I saw on ky earlier that an early spring just isn't going to be possible. They are saying that arctic air will invade the last 10 days of feb. and last through the first of mar, also saying that march will be cold and stormy, with many chances for more winter weather. What is your opinion on this? Just wandering,I myself think this could be very interesting. Thanks Jim

Is it true we might have another Winter Storm headed our way for Mom-Wed of next week? Chris Bailey said its very well possible this trend will go all the way through March.
