Fan Outfitters sold to national chain
4 mins ago - A Lexington-based string of sporting goods clothing stores has been sold to Lids Sports Group, a national chain based in Indianapolis.
In all the years I have been here this has truly been one of the most difficult and action packed! I have faced numerous forecast challenges that I have never faced before in my nine years here at WYMT. Before we dive into forecast discussion... check out how this winter measures up to winters dating back to the early 1980s. Well... my lifetime!
You can see why this has been such a challenge... in all the years I have been here this one has been the snowiest! We discussed this last week when this winter became the 3rd snowiest on record. It is nearly the 2nd... Iam going to make a statement that may be foolish, but it is what I am feeling here lately. The rest of this season has potential to flirt with number 1... yeah... I said it! With the way the pattern is looking, we have all kinds of potential! So there you have it... my late season revelation!
Now back to our forecast!
Wednesday will feature some heavier snow bands and then this system will completely wrap-up by Thursday. There will only be a few flurries or some light snow showers then!

This is the additional snowfall forecast.
Many of you have posted that your snow has melted, leaving very little behind! Final overall totals will look very similar to what I posted all week!
The next weak system will be here by this weekend. It could start out as snow and rain or even a mix! Then we look at a system that enters the area on Sunday night and Monday! I'll begin reviewing that Wednesday!
