Edward Hopper painting of NY island sells for $19M
Posted: 2:53 PM - The painting depicts the island from across the East River against a dark silhouette of buildings. The island was renamed for President Franklin Roosevelt in 1971.
Storms developed to our west and moved into Kentucky during the afternoon hours. We actually had a severe thunderstorm watch posted for parts of our region and even a few warnings went out. Here we can view the storm reports.
