When the weather slows down a little... apparently I do to! I have been up to my ears in other odds and ends. Since the forecast has been calm I figured why not?
The break we are looking for from the clouds and cool temps will be here in full force by Wednesday. That will round out the week and go into our weekend. This warm pattern will be like a breath of fresh air once it arrives on Wednesday. Please don't forget that this is March and a lot of things can and will happen. Right now we are in a nice pattern! Which is a really good place to be! I know it hasn't been wonderful, but it will be again soon!
The clouds will begin to break up over east KY on Tuesday night. This opens the door for Wednesday to have more sunshine.

The next chance of anything exciting happening will arrive here by Saturday night or early Sunday morning. It all begins will some rain and that rain will be associated with a cold front and that cold front will be tugging on some pretty cold air. Once that system has taken over the region, we'll see temps drop from the 60s to the 50s and eventually the 30s.
GFS Saturday Highs GFS Sunday Highs

The flow changes from a nice steady southerly flow on Saturday (those black lines running over KY) to the northwest by Sunday. I have actually put in my forecast that there is a chance for snow showers. I will keep a very close eye on that!
I'll have a Cats Cast for you by Wednesday... so if you plan on heading to New Orleans you will know how to dress! I might put one together for Tuesday. It just depends on timing!
