All Oklahoma tornado victims identified
Posted: 11:49 PM - The death toll from this week's monster tornado in Oklahoma stands at 24, with all victims positively identified.
Enjoy the nice weather! Do what you can outside! Run with the kids or if you are a kid make the parents run with you! This stuff is too nice to make you lazy like me...LOL
The radar is all calm and the satellite is all clear. Thank goodness that I have this blog to keep me sane!
Even though the weather picture is looking awesome over the next few days... I had to find the conflict or the negative. There is a negative that is way down the road and it is one I am not sure I am going to fully talk about because it might just be a kink in the data. We'll see once I get down the page!
The conflict is the weekend forecast. During other runs of data it looked like Sunday would be the target for the rain. Now, things are beginning to speed up and that could lead to rain on Saturday evening or Saturday night. Plenty of time for this data to bounce around, but we still have to watch it and see where it goes next.
GFS Sat Afternoon GFS Sat Evening GFS Very Early Sun

If the models keep on shooting stuff like this out I will add a rain chance for late Saturday. I'll have to see Wednesday's runs before I add it or sit on it! If it looks like this again... You can bet your bottom dollar I'll include the chance! Next I am wondering whether or not some of the things that get going will blow up and produce some thunderstorms? I think that is another issue we'll have to watch very closely!
See the laziness just jumped right out of me and we're talking all kinds of fun weather stuff!
OK... I have thought it over and I am only going to throw up some images and let you guys have something to wonder about! ;) Remember... this is only for fun at this point. I think there will be some shifting once the new week gets here!

Necessary cold shot of air is in place and pushes the 540 line way south. There is moisture in place... hmmmmm

This will probably change.... but it is really fun to look at and chat about. We are in a period when, in my opinion, the data isn't as accurate as it usually is. These transitional periods are very "iffy"
Let's just enjoy the rest of the work week and cross this bridge when we get there!
