Ky. ranks No. 1 for whitetail trophy hunters
4 mins ago - The latest issue of Outdoor Life ranks the Bluegrass State as the top whitetail trophy state in the country.
The totals haven't been significant, but they have been very pleasing for me.

Once this light rain gets out of town we'll have a brief dry period again.
The wet weather will get fired up again and that could lead to showers & storms. At this point I wouldn't be surprised at all to see some strong or severe storms. This will also be one of the better chances to see some decent rainfall for the area.
GFS Fri Evening GFS Early Sat AM

This system is only the beginning. More energy will follow this first wave and that will keep the rain alive through the weekend. There should be a lot of moisture to work with. I am just hoping not too much! I'll have more updates on this later this week!
