First, if you want to track the storms you will have a few options... you can use our map page or you can just watch this radar.
The second wave will move through early Saturday morning. Remember the 1st wave was the light stuff from early Friday. That second wave will probably have some good organized showers and storms left, but I think this round will only be minimal compared to the next round.
As the 3rd wave starts to really come together... that's when our problems start to add up! The low will begin gaining strength and bring the powerful storms crashing in with it! This means several things will be possible.
You notice suring the day that things will stay pretty breezy. Don't let that fool you! That's just the low getting closer and gaining strength. After the second wave of showers makes it all the way through KY it looks like we'll go through a period of clearing and that could even mean sunshine. That sunshine will help enhance our chances for showers and storms. It will get the atmosphere boiling and read to spill over.
These showers could also house a lot of moisture. Meaning that flash flooding could be a great risk as well!
