We'll have to deal with these pesky showers for a little while longer. I think most of the activity will move out by Wednesday. This was a much needed drink of water from Mother Nature though... look at this info from the NWS

I was in Lexington on Satuday night preparing for the Cardinal Hill Telethon so I missed out on most of the severe weather around here. The showers and storms were strong, but we avoided widespread major problems. A family in Letcher County did have some major issues and my my heart goes out to them. Thankfully, no one was hurt and worse in our region.
Tuesday is still looking kind of wet. The showers will hang around for most of the day. There will eventually be some clearing and we'll see conditions dry back up! Expect the cool temps to stick around through Wednesday. Highs should get back on track By Wednesday afternoon.
It looks like more showers & storms will be possible by the weekend. I think it is another situation that I'll need to pay close attention to what is going with the whole system set-up!
