Three dead and one critically injured in Louisville shooting
20 mins ago - A shooting in South Louisville leaves three dead and one injured.
The AC will be running in most homes across KY on Friday! Daytime highs will climb into the mid and upper 80s. It looks like the humidity levels will slightly go up as well. This will give it that uncomfortable factor that we get around here in the summer. It probably won't be that oppressive, but it will have a little extra sting to it! The good thing about this hot day is the fact that it is only a day! That's it! Just one pretty hot day.
The reason it will be so short is because we have another front ready to move across KY. It comes by late Friday night into Saturday morning. Usually, with a rapid change like this, we see some fireworks. I am not ruling out some stronger storms, but I'm really not feeling them either. It will be one of those days where we need to just pay attention to our weather surroundings.

That's the outlook for Friday. This image below will update as the new data becomes available.

What we have working in our favor is that this system isn't cut-off from the main flow in the atmosphere. It will be quickly forced out of the region by the steering winds above our heads. That means we won't have a long period of continuous rain... not that it even looks like there will be a lot associated with it... just saying!
Here are the fun graphics!
Our in house RPM Model. Highs for Friday!

Our in house RPM Model. What you see below will likely be the daytime highs for Saturday... at midnight!

RPM Saturday Afternoon

WOW!!!! That's a quick drop! I think the RPM might be just a little aggressive for afternoon readings on Saturday... I think we'll hoover in the low to mid 60s. Then Sunday night there could be some issues with areas of frost!
