Boy Scouts approve plan to accept openly gay boys
Updated: 6:37 PM - The Boy Scouts of America's National Council has voted to ease a long-standing ban and allow openly gay boys to be accepted as Scouts.
We only saw a few showers move into our coverage area on Wednesday... or was it Tuesday... No it was Wednesday... right? LOL When I work the AM & PM news I really get out of whack and forget dates, names, and where I am! That's a sad thing to admit... I know! It is especially sad since most of my job deals with days of the week.
Now the set-up over the next 2 days will feature heat with showers & storms.
First let's look at the heat coming our way.
GFS Thursday's Highs WRF Thursday's Highs

Both are really trying to heat things up around here. If the moisture content in the are is high enough we could see some showers and storms "pop-up" I really wouldn't be very surprised at all to see some summer like storms. There is plenty of organized energy out there that will really increase our rain chances for Thursday and Friday.
Rather than throwing up models... I am going to show you my own interpretation of the models.

During the afternoon hours the showers and storms will be sweeping through eastern KY. You see the dryer air mass sweeping in behind the front and that will hang around for Saturday and stay through most of the day on Sunday.
The rain will return early next week and it is one that we'll need to watch! I will be watching it and I will relay info as time goes by here!
