Why not include a quick music video before we get into the meat and potatoes of this discussion!
I thought that might get us all in the rainy weather spirits... LOL
This will also get us ready for more rain. Check out the old radar and watch the rain as it comes into KY.

My concerns keep growing about some decent rainfall and some stronger storms on Friday evening and into Saturday. The general rainfall forecast gives us a little peak into what some of the organized stuff will do. The catch is... what will the isolated heavier amounts bring to the region. That's always a challenge and it will remain that way going through the weekend... well... the first part of it!

This is the HPC's outlook through the weekend. My main focus is still the Big Sandy Senior Games on Friday. I think we'll have to deal with some rain early and then a small timeframe for calm weather. It will be followed up by some showers and storms in the afternoon to evening hours. That's what will spill over into the weekend.
I actually think we'll see some clearing later in the day on Saturday. It will just depend on how long the moisture lingers in our region. It will take its sweet time completely clearing the area on Saturday... I'll stay positive and say it gets out of here during the late afternoon to early evening.
The main thing is to watch out beginning Friday afternoon and again on Saturday as the front pushes through KY. Next week we'll start firing off some summer type showers & storms. That means a daily shot of afternoon rain will be likely!
I had the opportunity to see some students over at Viper Elem on Friday. It was Career Day!
