Metro-North: Conn. train outage expected for days
Posted: 12:48 PM - The Metro-North commuter rail line says crews will spend days rebuilding 2,000 feet of track, overhead wires and signals damaged in a derailment and crash in Connecticut.
It is a forecast like this one that keeps me happy after a long round of nasty hot forecasts. Daytime highs will stay in the 70s and 80s on Thursday & again on Friday. Once we cross into the weekend... things will heat up again!
A trough is digging into KY just enough to keep our pattern very cool compared to where most folks think this part of July should be. We are around 5-15 degrees cooler compared to last week.

You can check temps right here...

I mentioned this in my last post and it looks like it will still be true... the fourth will be hot!
Perhaps, "As hot as a firecracker!"

This firecracker looks cool... LOL
