A Front Will Drop In

Posted: Wed 10:36 PM, Jul 28, 2010

A cold front will drop into Kentucky on Thursday. This will bring another round of showers & storms to KY and will also sweep the humidity out of town.

The showers & storms we have seen this week have been more on the scattered variety. As the next push of energy arrives... these showers will will have more organization to them. Basically, when the line passes through KY that will mean that the rain will be out of here for a couple of days.

Loop of the short range forecasts

It will return in the form of a warm front and that is why temps climb for the weekend. Highs will probably be lurking in the upper 80s by the time the weekend arrives.

The weekend forecast has been going back and forth all week. Here's what I am thinking for both Sat & Sun... isolated showers & storms can't be ruled out either day. So just be prepared for a stray shower.
