Travis Gaines attends graduation ceremony with classmates
Updated: 11:33 PM - A Lexington teen, who was paralyzed after a diving incident while on spring break in April, attends his high school graduation ceremony.
I didn't get a chance to post on Wednesday. I was exhausted and I didn't get back from Middlesboro until 9:45. All I can say is WOW! I have been out on storm surveys before and where tornadoes have been confirmed... but this one was different! The damage was isolated to generally a small area, but the damage was pretty rough to see. The positive was that no one was hurt during the storm. Here's all the info about the storm!
The National Weather Service in Jackson, KY conducted a damage survey and confirmed that an EF1 tornado touched down late in the afternoon on Tuesday October 26, 2010 in the city of Middlesboro, Bell County, Kentucky.
Time: Touchdown for approximately 1 to 2 minutes between 6:10 pm EDT and 6:15 pm EDT.
Location: From just West of State Hwy 2079 North of Fleetwood Road, East-Northeast to just West of Hwy 25E in Middlesboro.
EF-Scale: EF-1
Estimated Max Winds: 105 MPH
Path Width: 1/10th to 1/8th of a mile
Path Length: 7/10th of a mile
Injuries: None
Fatalities: None

Each area highlighted in red means there was damge in that spot.
Enough with the bad and now time for the good... well I guess that's a matter of opinion...lol
Temps are cooling down all across KY. On Tuesday highs, for some, were in the low 80s. By Friday afternoon... try about 55 degrees on for size! That comes after overnight lows bottom out around 30. Some areas could see lows dip even lower than that. I'm thinking upper 20s in the valley locations will be pretty common. A Freeze Warning has been issued for the entire coverage area.

Some interesting things are trying to develop for next week. I'll have more on that later.

Yes, that skeleton was inspired by our own Steve Hensley...LOL... It will be cool each day. Friday looks a little worse for all the little trick-or-treaters. That's when temps could dip down into the 40s.
