Nothing new in the weather world. I am just reviewing this latest round of wintry weather. Here's the release from the NWS.
A low pressure system tracking to our south provided a shot of snow to parts of extreme southeast Kentucky. There was a sharp cutoff to the precipitation, but where it fell… it fell heavily for a 2 to 3 hour period. The snow was even accompanied by thunder in parts of Bell and Harlan Counties. The totals are separated by amount and are not necessarily the final amount for each location.
