Metro-North: Conn. train outage expected for days
Posted: 12:48 PM - The Metro-North commuter rail line says crews will spend days rebuilding 2,000 feet of track, overhead wires and signals damaged in a derailment and crash in Connecticut.
It has been wonderful out there this week. Highs have been in the upper 60s and even in the mid 70s. As we all know... that won't last this time of year so we all just enjoy it and prepare for whatever may come our way next! In this case it will be highs in the 50s and eventually the 40s!
A cold front will begin to work into KY on Saturday afternoon. It won't reach east Ky until later that night or more into Sunday. We should see some showers line up along the frontal boundary. I really hope that the rain stays together and we get the first of a few decent soaking rains. Once this system makes penetration into our region we'll see several rounds of showers come rolling through!

Temps will cool off at a moderate rate going into next week. By the end of the week. highs will only be in the 40s by Thursday.

The next taste of wintry weather will be here by the week of Thanksgiving! I'll have more details about that next week!
