Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
Posted: 06/18/2013 - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
I don't think a taste of fall could come at a better time. Football Friday Nights are back and that means thousands of folks will fill the stands at schools all throughout eastern KY. Now... I did say that a taste of fall would be here... unfortunately... it really won't kick in until Saturday LOL.
The forecast looks wet late Thursday and into your Friday. The catch will be TIMING. Sure it's going to rain a decent amount of Friday, but the more important question will be, "Will it rain at my game?" and the answer for that is... probably not! Most showers look to be out of the area before many games begin. However, there might be a few showers still hanging out in our region. Very isolated... but still in the area.
Either way, it appears that the rain from earlier in the day will be enough to make it a nsty mess for fans in the stands. Whether you are walking through mud to get to your spot or dealing with wet seats... the rain will be an issue!
The weekend looks absolutely amazing! Dry with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s... you can't beat that!
C-Ya Bye
