Another First Call

Posted: Tue 10:30 PM, Jan 18, 2011

I don't think that I have made it through one week without having to put up a "First Call" for snowfall. Here I am doing it one more time!

Once again we are here to talk about upcoming snow. The snow I am referring to is the Thursday night-Friday Afternoon system. Data has handled this better than I have seen lately. Anyone who looks at the data will come away with a different opinion. My opinion is posted below!

Yes, this is an early look at the storm and what you see above could look a little different on Wednesday.

  • Snow begins sweeping into east KY Thursday evening-Thursday night
  • It hangs around through the early morning hours on Friday
  • Tapers off to flurries during the afternoon

My good ole buddy Brandon from Middlesboro asked me on facebook about those lingering snow showers that won't die out. This system won't feature that type of activity. So once this clears out it will get pretty calm in a hurry!
