Flood Watch And Even Some Snow

Updated: Fri 10:22 PM, Mar 04, 2011

This weekend will feature highs in the 60s on Saturday and 40s on Sunday. With some heavy rains thrown in for good measure!

A front will swing through KY on Saturday and linger into Sunday. Waves of energy will enhance the rainfall rates and dump some decent totals.

The entire area goes under a flood watch Saturday afternoon. Some areas could pick up between 1" and 2". I think some areas could see higher amounts. This is very unsettling! Remember... we just picked up a heavy helping of rainfall earlier this week. Some flood advisories haven't been down long. This much rain so close together will make for an interesting situation.

I'll watch the radar this weekend!

Once this system clears the area we could see some snow showers! One model is trying to spit out accumulations... My big concern remains the flooding... not SNOW!
