10 Things to know for Wednesday
Posted: 05/21/2013 - Your daily look at late-breaking news, upcoming events and the stories that will be talked about Wednesday.
It's that exciting part of the year again when crazy things happen in the world of weather and I am ready to get this blog going wide open again. I have been hit and miss... but... I am back Jack!

Just the mention of wintry weather makes most begin to shake in fear and anger. But not that guy you see above these lines... LOL... he just smiles and say bring it on baby!
A couple of things will happen over the next few days. A frontal boundary will sweep across ky and the low that is attached will begin wrapping some much cooler air into the region. Then it could join forces with another stronger low and that means plenty of moisture rolls up the east coast.
That colder air that I mentioned wrapping in... it could mean that some flakes of snow will be possible in the highest elevations of souteastern KY. This would be the second time this season that the high spots see the wintry stuff so early. As for the rest of us living at some lower levels... we could see bit of a wintry mix try to develop. This is all set to happen on Thursday morning.
I will have another update later today! I'll try to post some model data at that time ;)
