Interesting Ride Home

Posted: Sun 2:39 AM, Dec 26, 2010

I got a late start to my holiday travels and made it back to Hazard later than I wanted. Roads were rough in spots, but crews were out and taking care of the main roads.

I'm not a fan of driving in these conditions, but sometimes you have to do it! I had to get home tonight. My travel included the following counties Perry, Knott, Floyd, Pike and Magoffin. Snow was steady the entire time and roads would quickly become recovered. All and all... thumbs up to road crews in all of the aforementioned counties!

I know we are right in the middle of this mess, but I have been trying to get to a computer all day to update the forecast. I am making a final call for snowfall right now!

Stay safe and have a great holiday weekend!
