More Severe Weather Chances

Severe weather could get rolling again over the next few days.

Before we talk about the new chances of severe weather let's take a look at the second confirmed tornado in eastern KY.
 

...NWS STORM SURVEY CONFIRMS EF1 TORNADO IN FLOYD COUNTY...

A SURVEY TEAM CONSISTING OF NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AND EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL HAVE CONFIRMED THAT AN EF1 TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN
IN FLOYD COUNTY ON MONDAY APRIL 4TH. THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN 2.7
MILES SOUTH OF TEABERRY AROUND 621 PM EDT. THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN
ON SMOKEY BRANCH IN EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN FLOYD COUNTY...AND DESTROYED
A TRAILER HOME AND DOWNED CLOSE TO 100 TREES.

TIME: TOUCHDOWN AROUND 621 PM EDT
EF-SCALE: EF-1
ESTIMATED MAX WINDS: AROUND 90 MPH
PATH LENGTH: 0.4 MILES
PATH WIDTH: ABOUT 100 YARDS
INJURIES: NONE
FATALITIES: NONE
