Pattern Finally About to Change

The wet and cooler pattern looks to finally relax a bit as we head into the end of the week.

Has it been soggy enough for you lately?  The rain has been nice in that it's busted the drought we were in, but the showers definitely ruined a lot of weekend plans and caused some minor flooding across the mountains over the weekend.  We saw more heavy rain today, but the rain will be more scattered in nature tomorrow.  The NAM future radar is painting the picture nicely.

The cold front causing all the rain will finally finish crossing the region tomorrow.  Behind it temperatures are going to seriously drop.  Lows will go back to the mid 50s and highs on Wednesday will likely only be in the mid 70s.  You can see it's going to be well below normal on the map below.

Now for those of you wanting something a little closer to summer, check out what's heading our way for the weekend.  The map below shows temperatures at or slightly above average on Saturday.

And for good measure we will close tonight with the nicest 7-Day forecast we've had in several weeks.  Who else is looking forward to the nicer weather?
