Tornado-ravaged Texas town to start recovery

The sunshine may be bright, but it sure puts a smile on my face! Our ole buddy frosty doesn't see it that way though...LOL
This Thursday system will bring some rain to the area. Just what many of us need! The rain will wash the car that I haven't had time to touch...LOL..
It could start out as some freezing rain or even snow!

This will predominantly be a rain maker. Just the early Thursday morning chance for the wintry stuff.
The end of the week will feature a cold front and that means showers & even some thunderstorms!

What you are seeing above is the arrival of the rain into east KY on Saturday morning (New Year's Day) at around 7am. The rain pushes out pretty quickly. I keep wanting to think that there will be enough moisture on the back side to change to snow, but I think it all happens too fast. The cold air shouldn't catch the moisture so I think that our wintry weather chances go down tremendoulsy!
It will cool things off though... no doubt about that! Probably closer to normal levels! Hmmm.... sounds familiar! LOL
I'm off the rest of the week. I will still post things especially if my old pal Brandon in Middlesboro gets his wish! Happy New Year BRANDON!
C-Ya Bye
