Perry County cleaning up after flashing flood
Posted: 6:00 PM - Heavy rains caused major problems in the Perry County community of Big Creek, after flash flooding swept away cars and flooded an elementary school.
The second big system of the week is showing up on radar and moving across KY as I type these words. Everything looks right on track with previous forecasts that I have detailed earlier in the day.
Let's hope this forecast is a bust! You won't hear many say that... I really hate to think that we could see power ouatges again. Not only again... but right around Christmas time AGAIN! I am sure that crews are ready to battle whatever Mother Nature has to throw at the folks in Kentucky.
As for the forecast update... I just need your help again! Let me know right here, on facebook or twitter what is going on at your house. You can add me to facebook by going to this link Jim Caldwell Facebook or by trying Jim Caldwell Twitter. If for some reason those links don't work for you... just search for me.
There is some indication tonight that snow rates could be pretty intense. That would really allow for those totals I projected earlier to pan out.

I'll post more data later!
