Brodway live announces new season
Posted: 05/23/2013 - A little bit of Broadway came to downtown Lexington tonight.
A lot of water has been coming down all across southern & eastern KY. That's why Laurel, Pulaski, Wayne, McCreary, Jackson, Whitley, and Rockcastle Counties have been targeted with a Flood Watch through Tuesday morning.
The rain won't last forever as the colder air will begin creeping into the region and change everything over to snow. This is where things get even more interesting.I have been asked many times today about accumulation possibilities. Yes, we could see some accumulation with this system. if the cold air got in here as I am writing this blog... it could be all kinds of interesting! I just think that the timing of the changeover will be too late in the game for a substanial amount of snow in east KY. That and some dry air working into play. Which is typical with this kind of a set-up!
I am going to go with our in house model on numbers for possible accumulations. I'm not basing this forecast soley on the one model. I just think the numbers look pretty good for broadcast and blog purposes!

That's through Wednesday night at 11pm.
I'll shoot another update out later!
