Legion post cited on alcohol, gambling charges
Posted: 1:41 PM - State officials have cited an American Legion post in eastern Kentucky on gambling and alcohol charges.
The rain has arrived! I know many of you had rain on Sunday, but it really wasn't anything to get excited about. The big thing that I am sure most of you noticed was the change in temps from Saturday to Sunday. One day you see temps in the 60s and 70s and the next day highs are showing up in the 50s. This week we'll stay cool... at least up until the weekend.

A n area of low pressure will swing across KY on Tuesday. When this happens... it will increase our rain chances all across the Commonwealth. So it won't just be an eastern KY thing!
GFS Tuesday Morning GFS Wednesday Morning

This shows the GFS when the first bands from the low move into KY.... right up until they pull out early Wednesday morning. All of the images in between keep rains right over KY through the entire duration. That doesn't mean that It will rain hard the whole time... at certain points we'll see mainly light stuff! Notice in the Wednesday AM image how the tight the pressure gradient is when the low passes into the northeast. The tells us that it should be fairly breezy around here.
GFS Rainfall

According to the GFS we'll see around 1" of rain. In some cases we'll see some slightly higher amounts.
After this system moves out... cooler air moves in and opens the door for other types of precip.
I'll have more on that later.
