Relief From The Heat

Posted: Tue 10:36 PM, May 29, 2012

A much cooler airmass will filter back into Kentucky this week. It could come with a high price tag though. Severe Weather!!!

The problem with the cooler air settling in will be what gets us to that point... strong storms or even some severe storms. These will likely arrive late Thursday in parts of our region.

This is the day 3 outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. It highlights parts of KY in the Slight Risk area. I do think that this could go through quite a change by the time Thursday morning gets here. That could mean more of east KY could be included.

I'll have more on this on Wednesday
