Snow Accumulates Again

Snow began falling early on Monday morning. In many areas it covered the ground and caused a few morning commute issues.

The pattern is stuck in a rut! Cooler temperatures will be plentiful in this 7-Day Forecast. I even think we could see a few more flakes before the end of it.

Check out this photo from Becky as she traveled over Black Mountain.

Just look at the snow on her hood! That's some impressive stuff right there my friends.

Rain will be back again on Tuesday night. There is also a chance that some of the moisture will fall in the form of snow flakes. That will mainly occur closer to the Mountain Parkway and I-64. If the cold air pushes deep enough into southern KY I think that wintry line could work more towards the south. I'm not expecting a major round of wintry weather, but just enough to show all of us that Ole Man Winter is one tough cookie.

The next few days will feature highs around 50. That's right around 10-15 degrees below average for this time of year.

The end of the weekend shows some signs of a warming trend. That means highs right around average by Sunday.
