Eastern Kentucky Weather

Some Light Stuff

Posted: Mon 2:53 AM, Dec 20, 2010

Our Monday night Tuesday system has been trending away from KY this weekend. We'll see some rain & snow... just not as much as we could have!

The system I was concerned about for early this week looks like it will keep the best snowfall north of our area.

That map takes you through Tuesday and into Early Wednesday! I agree with where the energy is located. It's the Christmas system that really has me concerned! If you are dreaming of a White Christmas this isn't the only way you'll see it this year... LOL

We have a pretty good chance to see one ourselves! It could be more than we are bargaining for!

We are still a few days out and I will have to watch the development of this storm. So sit tight and check out what the GFS is spitting out so far! Just look at this as an early estimate! NOT MY FORECAST!!!! Just for kicks!

Our real chances look to start on Christmas at this point! I'll watch it very closely!!!!
