Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
Posted: 06/18/2013 - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
Most would agree that travel on Friday morning was worse than travel on Thursday morning. The hidden ice is always much worse. I just spoke to people that were out and just hit the brakes and slid for nearly a quarter of a mile! That's amazing! However, I didn't ask how fast that person was going before he hit the brakes... DANGEROUS!!! Saturday AM will feature some slick spots, but not nearly like Friday morning. There was freezing drizzle that helped glaze everything over and make things even worse.
I've got my eye out on this next storm and it could also lay some accumulatiing snow on the ground. It is still early in the game, but we'll take a look at that system right now!
GFS Late Monday

GFS 1am Tuesday

GFS 4am Tuesday

The track has the bulk of the snow falling north of KY. We'll watch the track over the weekend and into Monday and start making official "Calls" on the wintry weather. The snowfall forecast I am about to show you is just for reference and it is not to be taken as the forecast. Again, I do want to stress I use this and other factors to help me make a snowfall forecast....
