I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend my friends. The weather was simply amazing this weekend, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable warm temperature with not too much humidity. The humidity will ramp up tomorrow and leads to a slight chance of isolated storms. Better chances of storms roll in on Tuesday and some of these may be on the strong. Check out the latest slight risk from the Storm Prediction Center on Tuesday.
It looks like the weather will come in two waves Tuesday. The first round early in they, here's the NAM at 8:00 AM.
And another round possible late. The NAM at 11 PM on Tuesday shows another line trying to move through.
The main threat with these storms will be damaging winds and large hail. It's not a guarantee yet , but the potential is there. The weather will be on the soggy side after the storms on Wednesday, and then we will see a return of typical summer conditions by Thursday. We will have updates on the potential of strong storms again tomorrow.
