Chief Meteorologist Shane Smith has the latest on Severe Weather Chances for Wednesday evening.

Good Tuesday Evening friends, wanted to stop by a with a quick update on the potential for severe storms tomorrow night.  Before we get to the severe threat, a few thunderstorms are popping up this evening and some may contain heavy rain, some lightning and brief gusty winds.  Check out the storms as they move southeast on the radar below.

Now onto the main event, severe weather looks to be likely across southern and eastern Kentucky tomorrow evening.  The Storm Prediction Center has us highlighted for a risk of severe storms.

The main concerns at this point will be the damaging winds, however an isolated tornado and some isolated flash flooding can't be ruled out.

The best chances for storms looks to come tomorrow between 7 PM and 1 AM.  Here's a breakdown of how things should play out.

Be sure to stay weather aware tomorrow and keep it with WYMT for the latest on the potential for severe weather.
