At the time of this posting the rain has moved out of the area. It won't be gone long as the next wave of energy is on the way and will likely drift into KY on Wednesday. I don't think that the folks all acros east Ky will have to deal with a lot of rain. Not like the situation we had on Tuesday with the widespread rainfall.
NAM Wednesday NAM Thursday Night

GFS Wednesday GFS Thursday Night

On Thursday, I expect some pretty strong winds and again... you just can't rule out a strong or severe storm.
The fun stuff happens on Friday. While I do expect snow in the forecast... I do not think that it will be a huge deal. Travel will be terrible since snow might spook some folks and that could cause others to drive a little more impatiently. Thus, epic travel nightmare!
GFS Fri AM

This run is showing some heavier bands of snow trying to develop out west. I'll keep watching this mess come our way!
