Thanks Santa

Posted: Fri 11:21 AM, Dec 24, 2010

Has Santa worked his magic on the forecast? I say YES! Well... if you are wanting just enough snow to make it a nice white Christmas! And TRACK SANTA HERE!!!!

Before we talk forecast  stuff... we need to talk about Santa! We are watching the man in the red suit... so no longer is he the only one watching when you are bad or good! WE ARE WATCHING YOU SANTA AND WE KNOW EVERYTHING!!!!

TRACK SANTA

As I told you on Thursday I would likely change the forecast around a bit! I am going to do just that... first things first!

Now for an update on totals. This includes snow through Monday! I am decresing Christmas Day totals. I think the entire area picks up between 1"-3" of snowfall on Saturday. The moisture from the back side of this system will lay a little more snow on the ground. The highest elevations will pick up the most!

Unless something very amazing happens with the new data... this will likely be my final call for snowfall. Remember, the 5"-7" is for the HIGH elevations. Snowfall for places like Harlan, Whitesburg, Elkhorn City, Cumberland, Neon, Pikeville, and Evarts will fall in the 2"-5" area.

Thanks Santa!

C-Ya Bye
