Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
Posted: 06/18/2013 - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
Once again... thanks for making this blog one of your weather stops! Trust me I know that there are plenty of other sources out there and I am so glad that this blog was one of your choices. As most of you have been pointing out you have pointed out... there is a lot of inconsistency with what you are seeing. I don't like to look other places pre-storm because it always causes new questions to begin circulating through my head.
Now, how do we deal with the upcoming system? Everything looks right on track with totals I have been posting here. It will all be about location for you! As the next few days will feature snow that just blows up all of a sudden and then gets all quiet again. Tuesday will be more of a widespread day. Snow begins in the morning and hangs out through the day. The rest of the time we'll see the blow-up effect happen.
If I make another change it will happen on Tuesday. Once I really see where the next wave is moving I'll be able to really get these totals nailed down completely. I feel fine with what I have. You just have to remember that not all of the snow will show up at once. An inch here, two inches there, and then another inch back here again.
Once again, I caution you not to get too attached to the high end numbers. Those numbers are what people tend to see first and then it's all down hill from there. I admit that it is those high numbers that I watch for. As much as I hate snow right now... I always wait in anticipation for the high end reports to come into the station.

On Tuesday night's late post the numbers will begin to get lower. I'll only include Tuesday-Thursday then Wednesday-Thursday and so on.

Another round of wintry weather is on the way for the weekend. Runs have been picking up on this one since last week and it still hanging around. The biggest change has been timing. It originally looked like it would be a arriving full force on Saturday, but now it gets here Sunday. I have my concerns on what exactly will fall during part of this system. That's something we'll work out in the details later this week.

Well, it's a little after 9PM. When do you think the snow will start again? Wondering what tomorrow holds weather wise, I know snow, but I wonder how the road will be in the AM. I just want to say thanks for your dedication and hard work. Those of us in the mountains appreciate ya!
Bryan... Thanks and It should get cranked up tomorrow morning and during the afternoon.

Is the snow going to quit before April or May, right now it doesn't seem like it.
Susan... one would certainly think so at this rate! Keep in mind... April has provided us with a pretty significant event. Back in 1987 over a foot of snow fell in many areas...just saying... LOL

Jim you need a vacation bro, keep up the good work.. Lets prove the weather channel and noaa wrong.... ONCE again. Maybe all this negative energy will be directed towards them after this storm LOL. Oh and Jim, please make a blog about How much snow we received once the storm has passed. That way i can sit back at work, drink coffee and see how anonymous will handle this "hard truth"
Adam... I'll be sure to post something at the end of the week.
Posted by: Anonymous With the verga this morning can we assume the dewpoints are at a level of saturation enough actually have snow falling in the beginning of this next round instead of the atmosphere hoarding moisture?
It honestly depends what time it arrives in your area. That DP Depression could increase again and then we'll have to wait for the moistening process to get finished.
