Thursday's Threats

The severe weather machine is getting cranked up and will start making some moves toward eastern Kentucky on Thursday.

Stong and severe storms will likely come together right over eastern Kentucky Thursday afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediciton Center still has us in the Slight Risk category for severe weather.

Here's what I am thinking we'll see and when.

The tornadic threat is on the low end. Isolated tornadic activity is always possible when dealing with severe weather systems like this. But the necessary ingredients aren't there for non-stop wall-to-wall tornadoes.
