Chief Meteorologist Shane Smith has the latest on the potential for Severe Weather Thursday and Friday


We are watching the potential of some severe weather tomorrow and Friday.  Here's the break down of what to expect.

Main Threats:

  • Damaging winds in excess of 65 mph.
  • Large Hail around 1 inch (quarter size) in diameter or large. 
  • Heavy rain and frequent lightning

Best Chances of Severe Weather:

  • 5:00 PM- 10:00 PM Thursday
  • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday
  • 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday

Possible Impacts:

  • Isolated Power Outages
  • Limbs and Small Trees knocked down
  • Minor damaging to roofing and siding
  • Isolated Street and Creek Flooding
