Madison Co. man arrested for using small child as designated driver
Posted: 2:49 PM - A Madison County man is in jail accused of letting a small child drive him home because he was drunk.
It wasn't a pretty day, but Monday sure was nice temperature-wise! Another big player from the west will bring more rain and some seriously cold conditions for the middle of the week. Getting to that chill is going to be a pretty rough process in itself. A flood watch has been issued for several counties in southeastern KY because of the amount of rain we are expecting.

RPM Rainfall Potential

That's a decent amount of rainfall for the timeframe. Especially, when you think about recent rains we have seen here in the region. So according to the RPM we are looking at an inch and a half to 2 inches.
Not all data agrees.
GFS Rainfall NAM Rainfall

The NAM is projecting better than 2" in the watch counties. This all comes in a relatively short amount of time. However, the GFS is roughly half that amount. What matters here is which model has been consistent. I will honestly tell you that I have not kept up with every run due to the holiday. I did peek some, but at this point I'll go with a blend and the RPM is a good blend of what we are seeing here.
Once this system exits the area temps will drop and snow will likely fall. Anything that accumulates from the Wednesday system should be light in nature. I'll detail that more on Tuesday.
