Chief Meteorologist Shane Smith is tracking some warmer temperatures heading our way for the next week.

Howdy friends!  Your friendly neighborhood weatherman is glad the winter storm of yesterday is gone and that the weather is actually looking a little tamer for the next several days.  Before we get to the forecast, let's check out the winter storm to see how much snow and ice was reported across the region.

I also have to tip my hat to Brandon Robinson and Brandon Orr  for their work covering this storm.  I'm really proud of the weather team we have at WYMT and know that we bust our collective tails working in events like this to keep you all informed.

Enough about the snow and ice, let's talk the warm up that's coming.  It starts tomorrow as temperatures head into the upper 40s and low 50s.  After that the trend continues higher, take a look at what some of the models have to say.

That trend makes me one happy weather man.  Check out how it looks in the 7-Day Forecast.

Hello 60s!  Let's enjoy the break from the winter weather and hope that this last snow is the last trip old man winter will pay us until the end of the year.
